We believe that if an athlete wants to try and reach his or her fullest potential that they should not only train hard and follow a great program, but also educate themselves on the process that they are engaging in. We believe that athletes should always be educating themselves on nutrition, sports science, strength training principles, and sports psychology. This should be something that every CrossFit athlete should do whenever they are not training (or working). Rather than get in extra volume of training, take a step back and educate yourself in every aspect of training so that you can improve your training. Some of the books we recommend here are focused on the mental aspect of training. Sharpen your mental toughness and it will help you become the best athlete you can be.
